Photo A Day, October—Week 4
As I was making this week's collage I realized that 3 of the 8 photos were of screens (and the first of my "under the weather soup" was taken while watching tv as well.) And that my friends is just sad and pales in comparison to the amazing week in Washington we had. Throw in a BBQ competition and getting ready for the upcoming wedding this weekend, that is pretty much my week. Of course the very best part of the whole week was seeing Mr. Clark Kent and Owen the Pirate at last night's Halloween festivities at church. It may not be the best picture but I love it anyway. Allens Head North: Columbia River Gorge Waterfalls
After our first night in Redding, we spent the second night in Portland with dinner at Cartlandia. The next morning we drove through the Columbia River Gorge, a windy two lane highway by which you pass waterfall after waterfall. The first one we stopped at, Wahkeena Falls, had a short .2 walk up closer to the falls. It was just gorgeous, and super cold! I loved it! Allens Head North: Introduction
The week after our good friend's wedding, Andy and I made an escape to Seattle, celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary and his 30th birthday. We made plenty of stop along the way which helped to break up the 20 hour drive. The timing of this trip was jammed into the couple weeks between weddings and right in the middle of huge work projects, but Andy turned 30 and we had to celebrate. We actually left on the day of his birthday and made it to Redding in 10 hours, finishing the day with dinner at a Kobe teppanayaki grill. So so good! If you've been following me on Instagram, you've seen the food posts and the weather posts and the posts of all the little babes but since we've been back many have asked what my favorite thing was. I would have to say my favorite part was just getting away with just my husband in tow. We haven't taken a trip with just the two of us since our second wedding anniversary cruise! Sorry for such a late posting but as the 15th's "dinner" post was taken in Redding, California, I haven't been home to finish up the post until today! The second week of October was just so amazing and all about the upcoming wedding that took place last Sunday. From completing last minute projects like the wedding programs to getting my bridesmaid attire in order, it was all about the Wagoner wedding. Lauren and Kellen’s Engagement Photos in the Woods, Menifee
Well the wedding came and went in a whirlwind of fun and laughter. Now Andy and I are in cloudy and cold Washington enjoying a much needed vacation while Kellen and Lauren are enjoying a sunny ocean filled honeymoon in Hawaii. Before too much more time has past, I wanted to share a few photos I took of the almost married couple for their wedding invitation. We only needed one photo for the RSVP card so we were there and gone within 15 minutes if not less than that! The Year of Babies, Brides, and BBQ (August & September)
This is the last post before the October and November weddings, eeeek!!!! Babies! Jameson Jameson totally crashed Brittany's first bridal shower but it's okay, we got to have a little photo shoot with him on the grass. Oh and then he came to our annual hotluck (his mama Courtney was pregnant with him at last years!). And I got to feed him his dinner and oh my was that so fun! He just loves to eat, it was cracking me up! Plus my grandpa asked to hold him and Jmo was so entranced by his glasses, so so cute! He really just keeps getting cuter and cuter and just has the best personality! Owen!! Oh this baby

Seriously, September is already over? Labor Day seems so so long ago but then feels like just yesterday all at the same time. Work is crazy, weekends are crazy, I am going crazy. Crazy excited for the fun times ahead in October: one of my best friend's weddings, mine and hubby's birthdays, and our trip to Washington. We actually leave in two weeks and have not one single plan set. Who am I? Ah!
