A Pankratz Wedding: Amie’s Cherry Blossom Festival Themed Bridal Shower
Amie and I say that April 10, 2000 was the day we became best friends because that was the day we left for our 8th grade trip to Washington D.C. Before that day, we had grown up in girl scout trips not liking each other much
Another Year of Babies, Brides, and BBQ (July & August)
I really thought life couldn't be crazier than it was last year, but this year has seriously been insane! I am so blessed with the work that I have been doing and get to do, but I am ever so thankful for these babies and being the matron of honor to my best friend bride to be, Amie! Oh and I guess I am thankful for BBQ too. ;) Babies! My little baby section is just growing and growing and growing!! Jameson Oh how I missed this sweet boy
Another Year of Babies, Brides, and BBQ (May & June)

He has just been growing and growing, and getting so tall! I love having them as our neighbors, seeing him each week has just been the biggest blessing for Andy and me. And having him "wow us" with walking into our arms on the last day of June, couldn't get better than that! :) This first photo is from our BBQ pool party we had in May, look at that chunk. Adorable! And then next photo is at Owen's big brother Eli's 5th birthday party this past weekend. I love how this photo sums up his personality and the way we think of Owen, belly out and guns blaring all with a smile

Pankratz Wedding Save the Date
Can I just say that I love my job as Amie's matron of honor and wedding designer? Seriously, this year I think I've seen my best friend more than the last couple year's combined. While I am so happy that her and Matt are getting married, I am also selfishly happy because now I get to buy a new dress (or two or three for showers and such :)) and have a blast crafting away with Amie! One of our latest projects is compiling her Save the Dates. Her amazingly talented wedding photographer took their engagement photos in March (see more photos here) so we got to include those in the Save the Date as well. It was another scrapping night for Amie and me but they came out so beyond adorable! First off we created a monogram and did most the writing by hand which we then ordered custom rubber stamps of the final design. We really wanted to keep the handmade look we achieved in the engagement party invites so we rubber stamped the edges and then used decorative tape to hold the photo in place. For the front, we waited for the photos to be taken to be able to design around whichever
Another Year of Babies, Brides, and BBQ (March & April)
I really thought life couldn't be crazier than it was last year, but this year has seriously been insane! I am so blessed with the work that I have been doing and get to do, but I am ever so thankful for these babies and being the matron of honor to my best friend bride to be, Amie! Oh and I guess I am thankful for BBQ too. ;) Babies! So so many babies! From the ones turning 1 and the newborns and the ones still getting ready for their arrivals! Owen This last month we celebrated little Chunk's first birthday. He has changed so much these last two months, losing so much of the chub and is looking more and more like a little man. And of course, celebrating his first birthday just made me think all the more of the day he blessed Jamie and Joey one year ago! P.S. He even got his first haircut last week! So looking forward to seeing him in person! Grayson After not seeing Grayson much this first part of the year, I got to make up for it so much in April alone! We got to go and visit our friends in Redlands right before Kyrene had little
Lauren & Kellen’s Outdoor Woodsy Wedding Invitations and Decor
Lauren and I started planning her wedding almost a year before they got engaged. Just because we knew it was coming and we wanted to be ready! So once it became official, Lauren knocked down her list of "to-do's" in lightening speed. Within a few months, because of their mutual love of baseball, they took their engagement photos at Angels' Stadium which inspired their Save the Date game tickets. But their actual wedding was themed to camping, the great outdoor woods, and bright sunny sunflowers—and the Oak Canyon Nature Center was the perfect location to host their I-do's. Lauren likes to keep things simple so when she presented me with her wedding invitation ideas, they came together pretty easily. I just loved working on her invites! From their arrow through the heart monogram to the twine wrapped invitation suite to that wooden texture paper. Such a dream! Her invitations came with a map, a registry card, and a RSVP postcard
Lynzie and Daniel Barish Wedding, Heritage Lake, Menifee; with J. Rose Photography
A HUGE great BIG thanks must first go out to Jessica at J. Rose Photography for inviting me to tag along with her as she photographed our friend Lynzie's wedding. Having videographed quite a few weddings (also as an assistant), I have seen my share of the behind the scenes, but as the videographers follow the photographer, the head photographer really has the greatest responsibility on his or her shoulders. Jessica knew that I had always wanted to assist her at a wedding and as she rarely shoots them, I finally just got my chance. Mostly I only photographed the formals but my favorites are of just Lynzie and her now husband Daniel. I must say my favorite part of being a second shooter is getting the chance to shoot the artsier shot

Another Year of Babies, Brides, and BBQ
As the craziness of last year started to wind down, new pregnancies were announced, two amazing friends are now engaged and Andy set the competition schedule for the year. I don't think life is ever going to slow down but to cherish all these moments, I want to keep posting about them here just for my own personal enjoyment and reflection on this amazing life God has given me and all the people who I get to share it with.
