Crossfit Couple, Jarryd and Chelsea’s Engagement Portraits
I have been so excited to share this session with you! Chelsea and I grew up together, our sisters were in girl scouts together and their family is very close to my best friend Amie's. So when Chelsea contacted me about taking their engagement photos I jumped at the chance! We met up at Jeffrey Open Trail, a small park just a mile away from their apartment. Jarryd and Chelsea are very athletic—he's actually hoping and planning on opening his very own gym! And as you'll see Jarryd is quite proud of his lady's guns! Enough jabbering

Circus Characters by Jonas Bergstrand Beautiful illustration work by . My eye is particularly drawn to the way patterns are used in the shadows. Found via Brave the Woods, illustrated by Jonas Bergstrand. 3. Want this Typeface: Oaf Can I have it? Pleeeeease? Oaf doesn’t go to art museums or the opera. Oaf doesn’t eat paté, whatever that is. Oaf was painted on a wall by an eccentric Canadian with a paint roller. The result is an unusual combination of straight, evenly weighted strokes and rough, handmade charm. Purchase Oaf here. Found via Good Design Makes Me Happy. 4. Destination NYC Logo It took me awhile to come on board the trend in every changing and morphing logos
Parker, 2 weeks, Newborn Photography and Birth Announcement
See a couple of Parker's photos at 2 days old here. I cannot describe how much love I have for this growing group of friends I have been blessed with. Not only do Andy and I have some wonderful friends, but their children are just the sweetest and we love each and every one of them. Our newest friend, Parker, is now almost 2 months old but it felt like it was just last night that we were at the hospital awaiting his arrival. So without any further ado let me introduce to you the newest member of the Ryan clan by giving you a glimpse into Parker's 2 week old photos as well as his announcement that Kyrene and I collaborated on! Even big brother Hudson joined us for some photos outside—he's already such a great big brother—always kissing and tickling his baby brother. Parker's Birth Announcement I loved the simplicity of his announcements and how the type came out along with the lovely linen texture of the card. And it makes a lovely addition to our fridge! :) P.S. The texture applied to the photos in his announcement is actually the same one we used on
