Lauren’s Woodsy Shabby Chic Baby Shower
One of my long time friends, Lauren, is about to have her first baby so us girls joined creative forces to throw her one amazing baby shower earlier this month! We based the look of the shower off the nursery which will be a shabby chic-woodsy-adventure-tribal theme. How fun is that?! We had so much fun planning out all the details but let's first start with the invitation
Amie’s Baby Shower and Emma’s Watercolor Floral Birth Announcement
Well this sweet baby girl is a whole year old now! I am antsy to share photos from her first birthday but before I do, I have to share photos from the baby shower and her birth announcement! Better a year late than never, right? Right?! Since I was still in the midst of morning sickness when shower planning was underway, I opted to purchase some watercolor graphics for the florals. I fell in love with the ones I found from By Lef on Etsy. They were so easy to implement and came in such a variety! Make sure to check out her beautiful shop! Amie's mom and sisters threw such a beautiful shower!! I was honored to get to contribute a few handlettered goods to compliment their shabby chic decorations
My Nautical Baby Shower
I'm seriously the luckiest girl in the whole wide world to get to have these amazing baby showers thrown for my little guy! This post is about my nautical themed shower thrown by my best friend, Amie! Her attention to detail was impeccable, there were things I missed in person that I only just now noticed looking at the photos! Of course, she didn't do it alone
My Storybook Baby Shower
You know that feeling when you just want to burst because you feel so very loved. I hope you do. It's such a wonderful, awe inspiring and humbling feeling. I had 4 very dear friends of mine gather together to throw me a baby shower back in May. And this was 1 of what ended up being 4 showers! Yeah, seriously, that loved feeling is just amazing. Because of my extreme love of books, the girls planned a storybook themed shower. So perfect. And they got so creative with it. From book page banners to the book character themed matching game

Sam Allen Creates : May and June 2015
I don't know about you but May seems just like yesterday so posting about projects created that month, and in June, seems totally valid. Right right? Even if that's just me feeling that way, you still may like seeing a peek at some of the projects that came across my desk that month. Considering we were gone in Oregon and Colorado for half of May, this compilation is that much crazier to me—and of course still working full time. I definitely felt quite crazy there for awhile, but here's why
Brittany’s French Country “Bebe Soiree,” Gender Neutral Baby Shower
A few weeks ago, I had the honor to co-host a baby shower for my forever friend, Brittany. Friends since second grade, bridesmaids in each other's weddings, moms are best friends, she's practically family. Thankfully, my mom and "Tutu Kathy" (an aunt of sorts) were able to step up and really host this shower while I got to just help with decorations and stationery. Between the three of us, this shower was so so adorable and so so delicious. Here's some photos of the event along with some links for their amazing recipes. Seriously amazing recipes. But first, let's start with the beautiful mother to be!! Then we'll get on to those lovely party details
Sam Allen Creates : January and February 2015
This blog has totally fallen to the wayside as I have been trying to maintain all these various projects. Monday Musings and Friday Footnotes have been non existent for some time but I hope to bring those back soon along with a monthly, or bi-monthly feature of the miscellaneous projects I've been working on. Between my friends and Etsy clients, there's a lot of random projects that cross my desk that don't really have a place in my Etsy listings quite yet as they are too unique or custom and then other smaller projects for friends that don't quite need a full blog post. Or of course, an Etsy project that when photographed, hide amongst the nearly 150 listings in my shop. Either way, I just wanted to share a few of the fun things I've had a chance to work on, through my shop and on the side. If I haven't said it a thousand times already, I love my work. Love love love it. January This was the most insane month of my life, work-wise. My full time job kept me quite busy with TONS of overtime working on a catalog so lots of early early mornings, late nights, and weekends were

Nautical Inspired Whale Baby Shower Invitation: Ahoy, It’s A Boy and Anchor’s Away A Sweet Baby Girl Is On Her Way
Last year, my shower planning partner in crime Jess had me create a nautical themed baby shower invite for a shower she was planning. Shortly there after I listed the invite in my shop and it has come to be one of my more popular invites! And I love the various color schemes that my clients have brought me
