1. XXII Olympic Winter Games The Olympic Games design work is always so original. I love how it plays up a modern twist on that particular country's art history. Recently, the design and concepts, designed by BOSCO Sports, for the 2014 Olympics in Russia were revealed. The patterned design plays off the patchwork quilts, "a combination of 16 designs representing the most famous traditional Russian arts and crafts, ranging from Gzhel to Khokhloma." How cool, right? Found via Brand New. 2. Will Rogers World Airport I have just recently "met" Mauricio Cremer via Twitter and Dribbble (I drafted him!). The following was found by a shot Cremer posted on Dribbble. It is one of five graphics Cremer created (at Funnel Design) for the Will Rogers World Airport. I love how the bold colors overlay the vintage sepia photographs. 3. Typographic Verses: Psalm 96:11 Here is another piece that I first found via a shot on Dribbble. Jonathan Ogden is taking Bible verses and creating visual graphics for each of them, six so far. Each one stands apart from the other with its own totally different look and feel. This is the latest one, but also my favorite. He hopes to one day make prints of them,

1. Harvest 2011 Rarely do I let a Ty Mattson piece go by without including it in an Evernotes Every! The following piece really had no chance though! Not only is it skillfully created in Mattson's illustrated style, but it's for Harvest, the Christian crusades in Southern California, and it has a classic Disneyland icons. Really, how perfect is this piece for me to post?! 2. The Girl with the Bow Dress How sweet is the follow image? Not only is it beautifully lit, but her hair and dress move so subtly! It just love it! And there's a ton more on the From Me to You tumblr. This one in particular was created for Katie Ermilio. 3. Geri's Pets I can't let a Evernotes Every sneak away without some Disney love.  Designed by Andrew Kolb, when asked to contribute by the Pixar Times. I am huge fan of hidden secrets throughout the Disney parks and films, but this poster sums all that up, themed to Pixar. There are items and characters from all the Pixar features and their shorts. I must admit that there's a few I can't like the Incredibles or even Toy Story

1. End Credits of Tangled by Shiyoon Kim I just love seeing concept art or fan-art for beloved films, especially Disney films. I finally saw Tangled last week and during the end credits I fell in love with the artistic look and feel of the illustrations. Thanks to Google, I found the artist, Shiyoon Kim, who also helped with the character development throughout the film. There's several more glimpses of the end credits on his blog, but really, you should watch the film! It's great, very inspiring to go after your dreams and when that dream is achieved, go after another! Loved it! 2. Broken Trail BBQ Sauce Andy and I have been researching ideas for Rooftop BBQ's new sauce line so when I saw these, desinged by Imginaria Creative I was inspired. I can't wait to design our new labels! 3. Watercolor Fashion Illustration - C'est Magique I found this lovely watercolor illustration on Pinterest, isn't it beautiful? I love the soft underlying lines and how her face is only defined by her features, not an outline of her actual face. This particular one sold on Etsy, but there's many more in a similar style. 4. Music City Unsigned for the American Cancer Society This poster

1. Wedding Stationery Inspired by Japanese Textiles Maybe one day I will have a wedding invitation suite featured on Martha Stewart Weddings, but for now, I settle by drooling over the suites featured there now. Here's my favorite suite out of the 50 Great Wedding Invitations, designed by the bride herself. The way the two main colors of brown and a dark salmon pink work with the miscellaneous florals and patterns is just beautifully done. 2. Beerly Beloved A design collaboration between Erin Mercurio and Krisna MacDonald 50-page book covering six different types of beer, including history, facts and reviews. Production includes a laser-cut cover, spine, belly-band and hand-binding. I couldn't even choose a selection of photos so I saved each one in my Evernote! The overall layout of the cover alone is so full of textile elements, I just want to hold one, but then the design and composition of the inside page layouts are so clean and well put together, I just can't choose what I love more—and I don't even like beer! Here's just one for your viewing pleasure but you should check out the rest on Erin's Behance. 3. Crow & Canary Here's a snippet of some stationery materials

This installment of Evernotes Every is being posted on Thursday as tomorrow, March 18, is Bloggers Day of Silence to raise awareness for Japan. 1. Wallnut Branding for Luisa Nicholls My jaw dropped as I perused the branding section of Wallnut's website. I had seen one of their pieces before for Marypat but I hadn't seen any more of their work until this week. The layers of design work together so cohesively and truly give a voice to the couture designer, Luisa Nicholls. Truly one of my favorite designs I've seen in a long time. 2. BF Royal Canvas Garden Bucket This canvas bag combines my love for tactile elements and typography, plus my waning love of gardening. You can use these bags for all sorts of stuff, there's even an equestrian bag! I just like looking at it. The layout is clean and simple with the use of only black ink with a pop of red. This and others are sold on etsy. 3. Burlap Chalk Cloth Tag I read somewhere that as technology increases, the urge for vintage and textural element increases. This may explain my latest obsession with burlap. Anyway, I love these tags that can be used for all sorts of nifty

Today I reached a mile marker in my Evernote account. My 1,000 note! And what was it you ask? A wedding invitation suite I found, after drooling over Wallnut's other branding designs. If I haven't gushed over Evernote enough on here, you'd think they were a sponsor of this blog, I just wanted to share again why I love Evernote so much! As a designer with many hats, I love to be able to save all my images for each project in one note, in one place, with tags to support them so I can easily find them again later. Then I can save each one in a notebook to further indulge my OCD. Here's how my notebooks stand now

1. Tiny Colorful Buildings Ok so this was actually posted to Kelli Anderson's blog last week but it was too late for my Evernotes Every. But it was too good to pass up so I accepted it for this week instead. I get to make the rules anyway. As I have said before, infographics are hard to make and even harder to design to please the eye. This was designed for Airbnb, an online company that facilitates the renting of "homes" worldwide. Like the movie The Holiday. Anyway, they just booked their one millionth night so Kelli illustrated these infographics for their site. Please view the full image here, it makes me want to book with them and stay in a treehouse out in the middle of nowhere, or an igloo
