New Etsy Shop Launched: Mama & Mia Boutique, Hand Knit Infinity Scarves + Giveaway!
I'm so excited to share this new shop with y'all! Over the past few months, Rachel has been racking my brain regarding all things Etsy so it's been fun seeing this come together! And just last weekend, her Etsy boutique went live! In her own words, Rachel describes her scarves: After having my darling daughter Amelia, I really felt inspired to start using my creative juices and get crafting. Since being fashionably dressed has always been a must for myself, Amelia now gets to share in that same joy! Scarves are a staple in my winter wardrobe for staying warm and cute so it only made sense that Amelia have her own as well! Voila! Mama & Mia, scarves for littles and their mamas and basically anyone else with a neck that needs a little lovin! The Mama & Mia scarf is handmade, hand knit, chunky infinity scarf, made from 80% acrylic and 20% wool yarn. A couple weeks ago, we got together to take some photographs of her infinity scarves product line. Little Mia napped as we shot all the Mama scarves and then woke up just in time to model the Mia scarves for us. Hope you enjoy the images as much as I
Baby Violet, Newborn Photography, Menifee
Oh this sweet baby girl! Born just before Christmas, her mama and I planned this little mini shoot and got together right in their backyard (gotta love So Cal in December). She wore homemade knitted beanies and booties and just kept flashing us those beautiful eyes of hers! Enjoy these favorites of mine of sweet little Violet at 2 weeks old
Unique Gift Idea for the Bride: Bridal Beauty Scrapbook of all the Wedding Events, Bridal Showers and Parties
Creating a scrapbook of all the bridal events for the year is a great keepsake and gift for a bride! A couple years ago, I started up a scrapbook whirlwind by making 2 books for my girlfriends that were getting married in 2012. I started way too late into the year though and didn't have nearly the arsenal of scrapbook tools that I do now! So for Amie's book, from this past year's wedding celebrations, ended up being triple layered in stickers and all sorts of embellishments! Plus I started it right away and did one page/event at a time—which allowed for my creative juices to really flow through each page. So I just wanted to share a few of my favorite pages from these books and at the end of the post there are some tips if you find yourself making one for yourself or for a friend! For another gift idea, see my post on a scrapbook of letters for the bride! First up, Lauren's scrapbook: This was my first ever scrapped page
Photo A Day, January—Weeks 3 and 4
Well now I didn't do TOO bad at the last two weeks of January's Photo a Day challenge, but I can't say I did great. And most photos were after thoughts that weren't even good enough to share on Instagram—besides those first 2, I mean how cute are these little boys that my friends keep letting me love on all the time!? I really wanted to go all in to finish up my 2 years of photographing each day but you guys, we got the flu! Yes, we! Both my husband and I both had the flu for a whole week! And it was awful and miserable and the body aches gave way to sore throats which my hubby is still plagued with. So that's why Nyquil got in on the action of Photo a Day. Well, I gotta get back to work. But since it's the 4th of February, I thought it was about time I posted this. Thanks Photo a Day for allowing me to scope out every inch of my house and share all the daily details of my life. It's been a fun two years! 17/ tiny, 18/happy place, 19/breakfast, 20/to do list, 23/bedtime, 26/fun stuff! 27/something I bought, 28/dinner, 29/window, 30/best

Another Year of Babies, Brides, and BBQ (November & December)
Good morning 2014! And with the close of 2013, here is my last Babies, Brides, and BBQ post! It's been a fun 2 years documenting all my new little loves that have been born, following the love of brides to be's, and of course the craziness that is this BBQ world we have found ourselves deep within. Hope you're enjoying this first day of this brand new year! Babies! My little baby section is just growing and growing and growing!! Jameson In celebration of this little guy turning 2 yesterday, we went out for some frozen yogurt just like we did 2 years ago the night before Courtney went into labor. This little guy has the sweetest voice, and is so incredibly smart from knowing his letters to his shapes, even including the crescent moon. :) Thank you Mama Coco and Little Jmo for a night out of blueberry topped fro-yo and the showing off all your new 2 year old tricks! Owen Well this darling boy now says "Andy" and "Sam" among many more words in his ever widening vocabulary. And he still has us wrapped around his slightly less chubby fingers as well
