See a couple of Parker's photos at 2 days old here. I cannot describe how much love I have for this growing group of friends I have been blessed with. Not only do Andy and I have some wonderful friends, but their children are just the sweetest and we love each and every one of them. Our newest friend, Parker, is now almost 2 months old but it felt like it was just last night that we were at the hospital awaiting his arrival. So without any further ado let me introduce to you the newest member of the Ryan clan by giving you a glimpse into Parker's 2 week old photos as well as his announcement that Kyrene and I collaborated on! Even big brother Hudson joined us for some photos outside—he's already such a great big brother—always kissing and tickling his baby brother. Parker's Birth Announcement I loved the simplicity of his announcements and how the type came out along with the lovely linen texture of the card. And it makes a lovely addition to our fridge! :) P.S. The texture applied to the photos in his announcement is actually the same one we used on

Now that you've seen Rachel's maternity photos, the next glimpse into the shower would be the baby shower invitations! I drew inspiration from Mary Blair's work on the credits from Cinderella and then applied Rachel's nursery's color palette with its pinks, peaches, and mint greens. The "Once Upon A Time" mark was handwritten as well as Rachel's name, then a combination of two other typefaces, a modern serif and a medieval display text completed the invite. This really was a work of love, and definitely one of my favorite invitations yet! In addition to the invitation, I created a bookmark with Rachel's favorite verse, Jeremiah 29:11, as the shower favors. Along with a print to go along with it for the nursery as well. All of these pieces of the invitation can be bought in my Etsy shop: Your New Friend Sam. In addition to the invite pieces—and to go along with the storybook theme—I created a custom bookplate stamp for Amelia's baby books. Also available in my Etsy shop. So many fun projects were created and designed for Rachel's shower! I can not wait to show you rest of the photos from the day of

When Rachel found out she was having a baby girl, we went right to work planning a dream of a princess fairytale baby shower. But first, Rachel having a baby just meant a few more photo shoots to plan as well. Our goal was to shoot around the castle to go with the fairytale baby shower that was coming up so that we could frame and display these photos as part of the decorations. You already got a glimpse of the mama to be in her 26th week, but here she is at week 32, with her beau Kyle in tow. And as an added bonus to the day, Jessica from J. Rose Photography tagged along with us. She took this first set of photos below

Can I just say that I love my job as Amie's matron of honor and wedding designer? Seriously, this year I think I've seen my best friend more than the last couple year's combined. While I am so happy that her and Matt are getting married, I am also selfishly happy because now I get to buy a new dress (or two or three for showers and such :)) and have a blast crafting away with Amie! One of our latest projects is compiling her Save the Dates. Her amazingly talented wedding photographer took their engagement photos in March (see more photos here) so we got to include those in the Save the Date as well. It was another scrapping night for Amie and me but they came out so beyond adorable! First off we created a monogram and did most the writing by hand which we then ordered custom rubber stamps of the final design. We really wanted to keep the handmade look we achieved in the engagement party invites so we rubber stamped the edges and then used decorative tape to hold the photo in place. For the front, we waited for the photos to be taken to be able to design around whichever

Can I just say I wish my best buddy in college and I would have taken senior photos together! Because these two CSUF-soon-to-be-graduates were just too much fun! Ali and Amy met while attending Cal State Fullerton and their friendship started from being the two quirkiest honor students and only grew from there over these last few years. We started out in Downtown Fullerton, stopping at the cutest apartment complex ever, then at a church, and then walked the alleys between the shops along with one last pitstop at a park to fit in some greenery. Ending our night back on the campus where it all began

Lauren and I started planning her wedding almost a year before they got engaged. Just because we knew it was coming and we wanted to be ready! So once it became official, Lauren knocked down her list of "to-do's" in lightening speed. Within a few months, because of their mutual love of baseball, they took their engagement photos at Angels' Stadium which inspired their Save the Date game tickets. But their actual wedding was themed to camping, the great outdoor woods, and bright sunny sunflowers—and the Oak Canyon Nature Center was the perfect location to host their I-do's. Lauren likes to keep things simple so when she presented me with her wedding invitation ideas, they came together pretty easily. I just loved working on her invites! From their arrow through the heart monogram to the twine wrapped invitation suite to that wooden texture paper. Such a dream! Her invitations came with a map, a registry card, and a RSVP postcard

The day was planned as an evening in to craft for Rachel's May baby shower (themed fairytale storybook), but we of course couldn't resist the backwoods of Menifee and the sprawling fields that are just minutes away from the Baby Shower Crafting Center—i.e. my house. :) So this is the results of the question "wanna do a quick 10 minute mini shoot before we start crafting the night away?" Rachel is only 26 weeks here in these photos, we plan to take the "real" photos next month
