The Year of Babies, Brides, and BBQ (October & November)

Well the weddings have come and gone as the babies have just grown and grown and grown… and somehow throw in a couple BBQ competitions all in 6 weeks time—oh and a week of those six was spent in Washington! And Hello Thanksgiving!

Babies!

Jameson

I just love this little guy! I’ve loved every stage of his life but it just keeps getting better and better, more fun and more fun for this Auntie! I mean, look at that face! 🙂 Plus this past weekend we took some Christmas portraits of the Baker family, excited to post those next month!

Owen!!

These last two months have definitely held lots of Owen moments. You know those babies that you just want to kiss them all over, well Owen’s little chubs just bring out all the kisses, from everyone not just this crazy auntie! While the guys were out celebrating Kellen’s bachelor party, Lauren and I got to watch the boys and I was just so excited to get that opportunity! I even got Owen to sleep, once, after 90 minutes of rocking. And Owen made it to his first BBQ competition! Now that was fun!

Grayson!!

Last time, I said that Grayson still seemed so little and he still does! But I think it’s just because he’s the youngest of the bunch! This boy, oh let me tell you, well his mommy said it best, if you ever get the chance to meet Grayson:

He would probably smile at you with his eyes.
I think you would fall in love with him immediately.

And it’s totally true! This little guy’s grin is just priceless! On another note, Grayson was dedicated at our church last month, the service brought tears to my eyes just remembering the trials the Williams’ family had to endure to finally be blessed by this baby. A reminder that life is a gift, and truly a miracle.

And I can not forget to show you the adorable best friends all dressed up in their Halloween costumes!! You may have seen this already as my Photo of the Day but I just had to share it again!

Brides

As these two girls became the Mrs. to their Misters, we danced the nights away, rejoicing over their new lives together as one….

Lauren

Lauren’s wedding was so so much fun! We danced and danced and danced, but only after the sweetest ceremony! Of course, the groom had to be blocking my view of my own husband during the ceremony, but I guess it really was about the Wagoners anyway! Since the wedding, we’ve already had quite a few nights over at their new home, watching The Walking Dead and sharing dinners <– not at the same time of course, who can eat while watching that show anyway?!

Brittany

We started the month of October with Brittany’s bachelorette party held in downtown San Diego. Lunch at Seaport Village followed by a night out in the Gaslamp District.

And then four weeks later, we all gathered together again to celebrate Mr. & Mrs. Totah, a beautiful and FABULOUS wedding in San Clemente! So so happy for Brittany!

BBQ

Thankfully, there were just two competitions these past couple months, one in Southern California and the other in Laughlin, Nevada.

Santa Anita

Laughlin

After not getting the best of scores at the Santa Anita competition, Rooftop placed 8th overall at the Nevada State Championships with three walks (chicken, pork, and brisket). This was such a fun weekend as us girls didn’t have to sample out food but just hang out and play cards. A wonderful and relaxing break after the craziness of the last couple months.

See my post from January/February, March, April & May, June & July, and August & September.

I believe in magic. I believe in the power of true love. I believe in fairy tales and happy endings. And I live to create stationery and art for the young at heart to allow my fellow dreamers to treasure all of life’s most wondrous moments!
