Victoria’s Senior Portraits and Albee Family Photos, Santa Rosa Plateau Outdoors Photography
I vividly remember when Nalani's name popped up on my phone on a Thursday night in September. As the message was opening, I was hoping against hope that she was contacting me to take photos of their gorgeous family! And thankfully she was! I've known this family for over 10 years as their girls danced at the dance studio I worked—and danced—at for over 6 years. Being able to photograph Victoria for her senior photos was just so much fun, and it was so fun to catch up with the family after so many years. Victoria, you sure have grown into such a beautiful young woman and in the short afternoon we spent together, I could see how kind your heart is. Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! I still can't even believe you're a senior! Oh, and wait 'til you see their sister photos, they're an adorable duo and I'm sure a big handful for their dad! And to close let's end with this adorable shot of Mom and Dad! Thanks again Nalani, that was such a fun afternoon with you guys and I just loved all the photos too!
Matt and Amie’s Maternity Portraits at Santa Rosa Plateau
It was just a year ago that I got to stand up next to my best friend as she married the man of her dreams. And in just one short month, they will be welcoming their baby boy into this world. I can't wait to love on you Baby Hudson
Baby Raymond, Menifee Outdoor Newborn Photography in the Trees
So far, I have yet to have a newborn sleep for even half of a photography session with me. Baby Raymond slept the whole time! And his mama and I are quite thankful for that because we had all sorts of fun poses and props to use! Hope you enjoy scrolling through these sweet favorites of mine of this most adorable baby boy!
Our Week in Photos: Cooking Through Colorado
On Monday, Andy and I drove the rest of the way home from spending a week and a half in Colorado. With two back to back competitions in Colorado, Andy and I thought we'd make a vacation out of it and spend the week in between at my aunt and uncle's in the beautiful town of Dillon, just a short drive from Brekenridge. I just love the beauty of this state—especially during the start of autumn, and after you see these photos, you'll totally understand why! We started the trip winning 5th place at the Grand Junction Pork and Hop's BBQ competition in Grand Junction. This was my first time actually competing with Andy, as his sous chef. I still think I did only 5% of the work though! We then drove the few hours into the mountains to my aunts where we cuddled babies, played at the local playground (the neighbor's front yard, haha), celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary, and drove Boreas Pass Road to see the aspen trees turning their leaves into glorious autumn colors. We even got to drive down into Denver for a day and visit my favorite bookstore, The Tattered Cover. And then just this past weekend, we competed
Roxy and Raymond, Malibu Beach Maternity Photos
I didn't meet Roxy and Raymond in person until the day of the shoot, but instantly, they felt like friends. And they're relationship was just so sweet to watch
Remi’s 3 Month and Trembly Family Photos at Santa Rosa Plateau
Years and years ago, like 12 years ago, this loud and energetic and FUN girl was in a dance class I assisted in. Fast forward a few years and I come to find out she actually went to the church and was friends with my hubby and my new found group of friends. We were even in our friends wedding in the fall of 2012 together! And fast foward another couple years and here were are on a gorgeous summer day photographing her new family of 3! It's amazing what God does in our lives, the gifts he gives from friends to family. Hope you enjoy these photos of little Remi and her loving parents, Gillian and Drew. And thanks Auntie Yoyo for assisting us that day, I am ever so thankful! We started with my version of baby photos, outside with blankets
Splish Splash, Amelia’s Under the Sea First Birthday Bash
Amelia's first birthday party was a few weeks ago now, and I have been so anxious to post photos from the event. Under the Sea Birthday Party Invitations Of course, we must start with the invitations. I have to say these are pretty much my most favorite invitations I've ever designed. From the hand drawn illustrations to the layers of color and texture
Miss Amelia’s First Year in Photos
I've never had the chance to document the "every 3 months" photos before
Amelia’s One Year Birthday Photos at the Beach
Little Miss Amelia turned one earlier this month! And for Mia's birthday photos, we wanted to head down to the beach to take photos that we could use as decoration at her Under the Sea birthday party. I know that she's pointing at her grandma behind me, but I like to think she's saying "I'm one!" (P.S. Thanks Grandma Kim for being THE BEST assistant ever!) I love this girl's smile! She just loves life, and is curious about everything! She has the heart for adventure! Once we got closer to the beach itself, it was time for a wardrobe change! Rachel made Mia these adorable crowns for the photoshoot
