I'm so excited to share this new shop with y'all! Over the past few months, Rachel has been racking my brain regarding all things Etsy so it's been fun seeing this come together! And just last weekend, her Etsy boutique went live! In her own words, Rachel describes her scarves: After having my darling daughter Amelia, I really felt inspired to start using my creative juices and get crafting. Since being fashionably dressed has always been a must for myself, Amelia now gets to share in that same joy! Scarves are a staple in my winter wardrobe for staying warm and cute so it only made sense that Amelia have her own as well! Voila! Mama & Mia, scarves for littles and their mamas and basically anyone else with a neck that needs a little lovin! The Mama & Mia scarf is handmade, hand knit, chunky infinity scarf, made from 80% acrylic and 20% wool yarn. A couple weeks ago, we got together to take some photographs of her infinity scarves product line. 1. Lettering Index Feeling so very thankful to Brad Woodard for sharing this wonderful lettering resource! The Letter Index is a jackpot of letters and words in a variety of styles from script to logo to hand made. It's just amazing. Quite often I'm asked to write out someone's name and just my handwriting will be used for their logo. That's quite a lot of pressure on my little pen and me, so this will be a hand resource to look up interesting and new ways of adding flourishes to make their letters a little more unique. I'm going to start pinning some right away! See my Handwriting, Lettering and Calligraphy board here. 2. The Hidden Sea For another jaw dropping typo-centric piece, I'm loving Jon Contino's new type and illusration work for The Hidden Sea‚ it's just gorgeous! I'm already a big fan of Jon Contino, especially his other nautical inspired designs, but this just blows them out of the water (pun intended)

1. Jasmine Star's New Site And she did it again. The amazing photographer Jasmine Star and designer Promise Tangeman just launched a redesign of the already amazing site: jasminestar.com. With gorgeous photos to display, the website vertically scrolls (y'all know I love that feature) showing off the details with top notch typography. And of course, Lindsay Letters created some custom lettering work for the site. Basically all 3 of my favorite female work idols busted out a gorgeous new project and I am in awe. Flourish Forum I get so so excited over every single purchase made through my Etsy shop—like seriously overjoyed—but when someone purchasing something hand lettering I get so much more excited to bust out the pens and write away to my heart's content. And I know there are so many more people who feel this way. So many that a forum has been created called the Flourish Forum. How awesome is that? Thanks to Besotted Blog for the tip! 3.
