1. Branding Santa
Christmas may be over, but these brand guidelines for Santa Claus are too funny. I love the main category guidelines: clothes, hat, voice, and hobbies along with the textiles of satin, fur and leather. Something so true but I have never thought about… what makes Santa really Santa? Designed by Bond, found via designworklife.
2. 2013 Calendar Download
Well moving on from Christmas and on to New Years… New year means a new calendar! Here’s a downloadable calendar from Design Love Fest where you can create your own monthly collage!
3. Maker’s Row
After seeing my husband undergo the creation of a bottle of barbeque sauce, and then barbeque rub, I definitely think a site like Maker’s Row is a good “save for later” site. never know when you might need a custom metal casting! Found via swissmiss.
4. I Still Love Calligraphy
My wonderful mama got me calligraphy pens (see 26 Wishes) for Christmas and I just can’t stop practicing and doodling with them! Lindsay Letters is the way I found out about the Speedball pens and she recommended Melissa at I Still Love Calligraphy. Definitely thinking about taking a class!
5. Flag Invitation
I love how festive this invitation is! What caught my eye was the type but I fell in love with the flag—hoping to incorporate a flag like this in an upcoming engagement party invitation! Found via Pinterest, originally from Wedding Chicks.
