1. Sailing Graphics by Stavros Kypraios
Created for Elena Matzaridou, a sailing trainer, by Stavros Kypraios, to be used in a presentation. Although this was used for a presentation, I think it would look great as a magazine spread. There’s a lot of information represented but it’s organized in a way that makes it so pleasing to the eye. And the focal point of the sail boat brings your eye to the bottom information too. There’s just such a great flow. Found via Looks Like Good Design.
2. Made in the USA
This is one of those designs that when I saw it I thought… “I wish I had thought of that” when my husband needed me to put “made in the USA” on his BBQ sauce bottle. But Evan Stremke did first and I applaud him for it. Found via Dribbble.
3. Weapon 11 by Rogie
I first wanted to take a closer look at Rogie’s Dribbble shot just because of the illustration style. Then saw it was an animated light saber. So I just had to share it with you!
4. 7×7 Mission Food Map
For those who may not know, I love food. Seriously. I do not cook for the very reason that I may burst if I actually knew how to make all the food that I love so very much (plus, I don’t know how). So a map created and guided by wonderfully designed icons of food… I just love it. And I want a copy! Found via Brent Couchman‘s Dribbble.
5. Pig Butts
As one who has a step in the design world and one “toeing” the line of competition barbeque… I just love this design. I literally laughed out loud when I saw it and had to show my husband right away. For those who may not get it… a pig butt is the nickname to a pig shoulder, the cut of meat used in pulled pork. That oh so delicious meat used quite often in barbeque. Found via Patrick Macomber‘s Dribbble.
