Evernotes Every Friday
1. Rebekka Seale House Portraits
How cool would it be to have a quaint, whimsical illustration of each home you’ve lived in. I am picturing them in a three up (or however many) frame or something? It would be adorable! See more from Rebekka Seale here. Found via Design*Sponge.
2. Birthday Balloon Invitations
Not only is this a super creative and festive idea for an invitation… the typography is superb as well! So cute! See more of this 30th birthday celebration here. Found via Oh, Hello Friend.
3. Aero, a Student Project
This set of projects reminds me of a similar student project featured on the Dieline for Costco (featured on Evernotes Every here). But this project was created as a class project for Target. The class hypothetically created a new set of product lines for a new subsidary by Target, Aero… a brand to compete with Crate & Barrel or Williams- Sonoma. There were so many wonderfully designed packages, it was hard to choose which image to feature. This one for various marinara sauces was a favorite as it enhances Target’s already established bold, clean, and modern design (seen primarly in their advertising). View the rest here, on thedieline.
4. Disney Nature
From what I can tell, this design was never implemented by Disney Nature, but I love the layout of the site. And it would be a nice change to what their current site is. Andy Gugel did a great job laying out so much information, separating it into three levels. Found via Seamless Creative on Pinterest.
5. Basis
Here’s a site that was implemented though—with some adjustments. Designed by Postmammal for Basis, a health and heart rate monitor. From the homepage to the infographic-like charts, its a very cohesive site that was very well designed and user friendly. The make heart monitors look cool. Found via Seamless Creative on Pinterest.
