Evernotes Every Friday

1. DIY Stamps

My lovely friend Kathleen posted a little DIY on making your own stamps with foam board. This has perfect timing for Christmas cards and gifts! Check it out.

2. Maternity Portraits

I am taking one of my oldest friend’s maternity photos tomorrow and I am so stoked, yet so nervous! I went a little pinning crazy this week and saved lots of posing ideas for it! Yay! One of my all time favorite photographers, Amelia Lyon, was a natural source of inspiration and this is one of my favorites…

3. Collabortaive Art

As a newbie to the blogging world, I love to see the friendships that so many bloggers have that come from sharing their lives online. The 15 Friends Project was started by Twig Creative and is still in its early stages of creative development. Starting with two canvases, they invited a variety of blogger creatives to collaborate on a single art piece by each adding their own touches. Here is the starting point, but by following Twig Creative, you can follow along with The 15 Friends Project.

4. Breckenridge Resort Design Collateral

Remember my post a few months ago from our BBQ competition trip in Colorado? We went to Breckenridge while we were in Summit County and it sure is one of my favorite places in America! This week I saw Katie Swetman’s pins of some Breckenridge’s logo concepts. So I dived in a little further and found several other designs Ron Thompson did for the resort, and while they were never used, I think he had such a variety of great design! See the rest here. Found via wit+delight.

5. Chitra Artisan Confectioner

I love the variety of colors and patterns used through these chocolate packages and business cards, created by a student at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, Mai K. Nguyen. Found via design work life.

I believe in magic. I believe in the power of true love. I believe in fairy tales and happy endings. And I live to create stationery and art for the young at heart to allow my fellow dreamers to treasure all of life’s most wondrous moments!
