Evernotes Every Friday

Hello friends, it’s Kathleen again! Another week, another post. Forget the frilly intro. I know you, and you know me by now. Let’s delve straight into some weekly finds from the information highway. Oh, and Please excuse my lack of wordage this week. I have sprained a certain phalange doing something very nerdy (which we’ll discuss later), therefore my fingers aren’t very cooperative. Anyhow, onward we go!

1. To Tattoo, or Not to Tattoo. That is The Question.

I. AM. IN. LOVE. WITH.TATTOOS. There I’ve said it, and if you know me that’s no  big surprise. I have yet to obtain a proper tattoo (unless a dinky harp done by one of your best friend’s husband counts). I dream about the day when I can get inked up in the right places by the right peeps. For now these little fella’s will have to suffice, temporary tat’s by the fellow’s over at Tattly. The emblem’s are fun and perfect for the indecisive man, woman, and child ; )

2. I Knew They Were Real, I Knew It!

Ah, a good chuckle ensued after reading this. You’re welcome in advance. Get the humor over at Etsy!

3. Chic, Indeed.

Coury, over at the blog Fancy Treehouse, has some unique and rad fashion sense. I read her blog daily and am never disappointed. I absolutely adore this specific look! It screams sophistication in a laid back, cool sort of way. Although I’m sure it took some thought to put the outfit together it looks effortless, and that’s what fashion is all about to me. Looking gorgeous all while emitting the “yeah whatever, this just happens” vibe. Kudos to you Coury.

4. Mr. Potter and a Sprained Digit.

Ok, ok I am a Harry Potter freak, I admit it. Not only am I a freak but I find this picture of my favorite ginger, Rupert Grint, considerably dreamy. Now I went to see the last installment of the H.P movies on Monday evening. In a fit of excitement after the movie I clasped my hands together, pulled them upward (or in some way that wasn’t OK) and said “I’M SO EXCITED, IT WAS SO GOOOOOD!” I then heard my finger pop. So yes, I wish I could say I sprained my finger while fighting crime or doing something extreme, but I didn’t. I sprained my finger after viewing Harry Potter. How embarrassing. I hope we can still be friends. Find  a sweet movie review of Harry Potter here at Nylon Magazine!

5. Music to my ears.

I’m not married, nor am I currently in a relationship, but that doesn’t mean I can’t wait to throw the biggest party of my life, a.k.a my wedding. If, and when, I get married I’d love these “Love Songs C.D’s” as my favors. I am a music fanatic. I can tell you exactly where I was when I first heard a song, who showed me the music, and what memories that song brings back. I think it would be a fun way to inject music into my wedding and a great insight into my future hubby and my musical tastes! I got the idea from the peeps over at Green Wedding Shoes.

I believe in magic. I believe in the power of true love. I believe in fairy tales and happy endings. And I live to create stationery and art for the young at heart to allow my fellow dreamers to treasure all of life’s most wondrous moments!
