Now that it's December and really starting to feel like winter here in Southern California, I thought it was a perfect time to post about my new Frozen inspired invitations! Several months ago, I dreamed up a list of all the items I'd like to add to my shop, a Frozen themed invitation being one of them. Not long after that, an old friend inquired about having a Frozen themed invite custom designed for her daughter's third birthday party. Divine, right? I started dreaming up how I'd want the invite to look, but as I am not much of an illustrator, I called upon my wonderful friend Rachel, a student at University of California Irvine. And a very familiar face around this blog. After giving Rachel a sketch and some images to inspire the look and feel of the invite, she went to town painting up the background of the invite on several pages for me to digitally piece together. I just love the look of these in person, the depth and texture to each layer of paint

Looking for a fun and safe environment to take your kiddos on Halloween? Our church is hosting a carnival: Calvary Carnival! Lots of candy,  fun, exciting games and jumpers. Plus free hot dogs, cotton candy, & pop corn.  And you can enter to win a iPad Mini (!!!) along with other fun prizes! It will be located at the school where our church regularly meets, Canyon Hills Middle School. But this year it has expanded quite a bit! I'm really looking forward to it

What I love most about shopping on Etsy are the personal relationships you develop with your customers and other shop owners. Each shop has a face to the name and although the shops create a market that span continents, it feels like a small little community! Since Christmas is coming ever so quickly, I thought I'd share about a few of my clients that bought stamps from me for their own Etsy shops, and real life shops! If you have a moment, or two, settle in with a nice cup of coffee and check them out! Maybe get some early holiday shopping done!   Lacey Osojo of Hum Right Along www.etsy.com/shop/humrightalong I loved working with Lacey on her stamp! Plus I was so honored and smitten to read her blog post on her stamp! Like over the moon, can not believe my eyes in shock, happy! Since then we have been blogging and Instagram friends! So fun! Anyway, take a looksie around her shop

Our pastor, Josh Black, writes: Be honest. Marriage & Family are the hardest things you'll ever do in life, but they can also be the most rewarding. Lots of families need help but don't know what to do. I can't wait to share what the Bible gives as the ingredients to a successful home. This next Sunday—and through the rest of the month, our church is launching into a 4 week series on family, marriage, raising kids, and even how to handle stress in life, like time management. And I just wanted to share some of the graphics created for the series

Amelia's first birthday party was a few weeks ago now, and I have been so anxious to post photos from the event. Under the Sea Birthday Party Invitations Of course, we must start with the invitations. I have to say these are pretty much my most favorite invitations I've ever designed. From the hand drawn illustrations to the layers of color and texture

Last week, my best friend finally let the cat baby out of the bag! She's expecting her first little babe this December! Before she even found out that she was pregnant, she had told me that she had wanted to take these feet photos with their little pup (okay she's not that little now, remember these Christmas photos??) So of course I am so excited to meet my new little niece, or nephew. I'm already dreaming of the cuddles, photo shoots, Disneyland trips, and mini milestones all along the way. And of course, dreaming of the baby shower!! It feels like just yesterday that I was immersed in all things pink and cherry blossoms! Now, don't you worry, I'm sure I'll be posting all along the way

Oh my goodness, I am so excited to share these photos with you. I don't even have a favorite. I have like 10 favorites. When Geraldine asked me several months ago to design her graduation announcements, and take her photos for the card.. I was so excited to get her in front of my camera. She is absolutely gorgeous, inside and out! And I was excited to celebrate this accomplishment with her too! After going to school, for what feels like forever, she has graduated with her Bachelors in Nursing and is now an RN! My friends are smart, people. And pretty. (P.S. Did I mention she's single! P.P.S. I can't wait to see who God has been holding on to for her!!) Whoa, tangent
