28 Wishes

How did October get here so fast? No, really? Wasn’t it just, like May or something?

October means autumn coming in full force, which around here means that we might be able to start wearing cardigans. And pants, just at night. October, also means birthday month for me and the hubby. I’m sure you know where I’m going with this… birthday wish list time! Indulge me as I fire off my fun list of wants, not needs of course!

1. Friends Peep-Hole

Oh I totally want this… almost to the point of needing it. I think every Friends aficionado needs one really… but the question is, would Andy even let me hang it on the door?! DIY here.

2. App: iFontMaker

Oh how I’ve always wanted to make my own fonts! How fun would that be?!

7. Alphabet Calligraphy Tea Towel

How amazingly simple and classy is this tea towel covered in Flourish and Whim calligraphy?!  Found on Lilikoi.

8. Made to Create Necklace

I’ve loved this necklace ever since Lacey and I worked on a stamp for her business cards a couple months ago. It’s been on my birthday wish list ever since! Her hand stamped jewelry is so darling!

9. The Lego Movie

In July, I only saw bits and pieces of this movie and loved each second of it. So once I finally got to sit through the whole thing, I just fell in love with the imagination and creativity of the movie. And the hilarity of Chris Pratt from Parks and Rec. I put it on my birthday wish list right away, but then ended up just buying it for myself! Whoops!

10. Disneyland Coasters

PERFECT addition to my Disneyland guest room: coasters! It took me forever to decide between this set from newspaper ads or the Magic Kingdom map ones… but it is a Disneyland room, not a Walt Disney World room after all. 🙂

11. Paint and Painters Please!

But first things first, I need to paint the Disneyland room… I want to go with a light light yellow, like a lot of the exteriors of Main Street, USA. (this is turning into a very weird list…)

12. Travel Tripod

How cute is this little tripod? I’m the queen of auto-timer selfie shots with friends so this would be a must have!

13. Ampersand Tank

Not too long ago I started following Cake for Breakfast on Instagram. I loved following along with her wedding and then her office tour… and of course her collection of ampersand tanks and tees in her shop!

14. Camera Strap

I loved the camera strap I found last year but it doesn’t look like the shop still carries it… so I got to shop around again and found this fun but neutral double sided pattern design with chevron and polka dots. And of course it has the lens cap pocket too. Bonus!

15. Just Dance 2014

Oh how I have loved this “game” over these last couple years… and just when I start to tire of the songs, a new one is released. Thank you Just Dance!

16. Set of White Floating Shelves

Now that the walls are painted (haha see #11), time to hang shelves! I found this shelf at Hobby Lobby and it helped me dream up the final wall for my Disneyland themed guest room… but I want 3 of them in a range of sizes. Hoping to get them custom made from one of my new favorite Etsy shops: Rooftop Wood Works.

17. ”Partners” Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse Statue

I’m almost done in collecting something from each “land” for the Disneyland room… this Partners statue will be the perfect finishing touch.

18. Brother Sewing Machine

Now that I’ve completed, somewhat successfully, like 4 sewing projects… I obviously need to get my own machine! Oh brother…

19. Disneyland Pass

Oh how I miss the Happiest Place on Earth. I want… need… to have a pass again! (Actually, I don’t even know why I put this on the list, I stopped going because I didn’t go often enough.)

20-23. Silhouette Cameo Products

Thanks to a certain someone 🙂 the seed has been planted and now I really really want this amazing tool. I’d love to be able to cut out my intricate lettering designs and create my own rubber stamps, magnets, chip board table numbers… tattoos!! The list can go on and on… after shopping around I kinda settled on these as my immediate must haves. Except I chose 3 paper stocks but we’re just going to count them as 1 today okay?

Since I just can’t work enough, I saved up for a laptop to work on the go. A MacBook Pro! Just waiting for the new one to come out… ETA January hopefully!

A new laptop, means new programs…

26. Everlane Snap Backpack

And of course, a new laptop means a new laptop bag! I’ve had my eye on this backpack from Everlane for some time now.

27. Tokyo Disney Sea

This was totally on my list the last couple years, but I’m not giving up! After seeing this post on Micechat with the Top 10 Scenes at Tokyo Disney Sea, my yearning as only increased! Who wants to go with me??

28. Chevy Equionox

For the last 2 years, this car has been on my list. Last year we ended up buying a truck, and this year a new smoker for catering… in other words: BBQ, BBQ, BBQ! Maybe next year. 🙂
