1. Lettering: Learn to Draw Illustrative Words

I’ve had my eye on a few Skillshare classes including this Lettering class… which is open for enrollement! Really really thinking about enrolling… plus there’s a $5 discount through Facebook!

2. Chalk Lettering

Speaking of lettering, my best friend wants to incorporate a lot of hand-drawn chalk elements at her wedding (seriously, isn’t she the best?!)… so this guide really caught my eye! Found via Pinterest, originally from Jones Design Company.

3. Cystic Fibrosis

To continue this accidental hand written theme, I am loving this new branding for Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The campaign was created to boost awareness about what CF actually is and does so using the “is” in Fibrosis really is an awesome concept to get the point across! I can’t imagine how bright that lightbulb was when it went off. 🙂

4. Fossilized Typography

This is so geeky and nerdy that I just couldn’t help but share it! Thanks Brave the Woods for sharing, created by Austrian designer Andreas Scheiger.

5. Easy Shrimp Pad Thai

Okay, I gotta break the typography theme… My husband truly is my favorite chef, I’d rather eat pretty much anything he makes at home rather than go out to eat—except for this brocolli and tater tot casserole, seriously?—but in the last couple years my heart has made room for a love of Thai food. I just can’t get enough of it. So when I found this recipe from A Beautiful Mess, I just had to save it. On record—literally—my husband says that if I do the grocery shopping he will make me anything my heart desires, but I am afraid the required fish sauce may make him go back on this promise. But it’s worth a shot, right?!
