The Year of Babies, Brides, and BBQ (December 2012)
The final Babies, Brides, and BBQ post of 2012… December was a good month. A good good month. Spent so much time with family and friends as Christmas drew near. Andy and I are truly blessed by the people we have in our lives, really truly blessed.
Babies!
Jameson
Jameson’s parents asked me to take their family photos for their Christmas card! It was my first baby photo shoot so I was pretty nervous. Good thing J-mo is such a stud! December was also his first birthday, he was a New Year’s baby! Stay tuned next month for photos of his crazy creative Winter Onederland birthday party!
Owen!!
I knew I would love having Joey, Jamie and little Eli as neighbors, but that was a few months before Owen even existed! And now I just love love love having them as neighbors, getting to watch this little chunker grow up. He has started the one arm army crawl just like his brother did, and it is just the cutest!
Grayson!!
Grasyson’s mommy allowed me to be the first ever outside of the family babysitter! So of course we watched a little Peter Pan and then had a mini photo shoot. At 7 months old, Grayson has the best expressions. I have never seen a baby smile as much as this guy does. And isn’t the way he sits up just the cutest? I love his little legs!
Brides
So as of the Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends, I have two new brides to add to my blog as the 2012 brides have got themselves all married and such.
Lauren & Brittany
But before we officially say goodbye to Mrs. Wagoner and Mrs. Totah, here’s a sneak peek of their bridal scrapbooks my mom and I made them… more details and photos of those later. 🙂
Kathleen
Oh this girl and her man… they started dating at the end of last summer. I think everyone, including myself, knew Mr. Allan was going to be “the one” right away. They are so so perfect for each other! Ugh, so happy! You can follow Kathleen’s wedding over on her blog as well as read their proposal story!
And one extra for Kathleen, this was our first girl’s night after she got engaged so she got to see the babies and had her wedding planning notebook in hand, needlesss to say I just love this photo!!
Amie
Knowing Amie since we were in Kindergarten makes anything I have to say on her wedding really really hard. Too many words, too many stories, too many moments in time that leave me breathless. Simply put, Amie is my best friend who has stuck by me through some pretty hard times, and of course some many wonderful times including being my maid of honor in my own wedding. And now it’s her turn, AND I AM SO EXCITED!! It was just last weekend that Matt proposed but we have already been pinning away for a year so lots has happened in just one week… including dress shopping and designing the engagement party invites oh and she asked me to be her matron of honor! Eeeek! I’ll save all that for the next edition of “Babies, Brides, and BBQ!”
BBQ
New Years in Lake Elsinore
Just this past Monday and Tuesday the boys competed in their last of 2012 and first of 2013 BBQ competition. Their best win was just yesterday with a second in brisket… here’s to an even better season in 2013!
