1. A Paper Forest
I am so behind in reading my favorite blogs so I am only just now seeing this Paper Forest by Kelli Anderson for Tiny Bop’s PLANTS! app. Kelli and her team created thousands of itsy bitsy paper objects to create a vignette of the forest to illustrate the life of plants…. it’s truly remarkable. Click through to see a wonderful and awe-inspiring behind the scenes video. My favorite parts are of course the variety of textures created with the paper like on the tree trunks, but also the way they used the various sizes of paper, like when the badger digs in the snow and bits of white paper pour up and out. I also loved the digital vignettes and the way they added a whole other layer of the roots system. Seriously A-Mazing!
2. Little Braver of the Woods Shirt
I feel like I feature something from Brave the Woods in each of my Friday posts lately… but their content is just too good not to share and re-share. This time though, I’m posting about some of their own illustration work being produced on t-shirts. I think I’ll need one for each little nephew! More info here and more info to come once these are produced!

4. Little Free Library
Last week, my friend Kathleen, posted about the Little Free Library, a “a ‘take a book, return a book’ gathering place.” Well now that just sounds divine… I looked them up in our area right away and since we basically live in a giant hole of nothingness, the nearest Little Free Library is 30 miles away… Anyway, this is just such a cool idea! Hope to find one soon and get to leave my own book while taking another!
5. The Brand New Club 33
Just last spring, we had the honor to have lunch at Disneyland’s historically mysterious Club 33 restaurant in New Orleans’ Square. I am still so thankful for the experience, but now all the more so with these drastic changes that have just been revealed to the public. With a brand new entrance, renovated dining rooms, and a brand new jazz club expansion, it’s almost an entirely new attraction. See all the changes for yourself in this photo tour on MiceChat.
