Lauren & Kellen’s Outdoor Woodsy Wedding Invitations and Decor

Lauren and I started planning her wedding almost a year before they got engaged. Just because we knew it was coming and we wanted to be ready! So once it became official, Lauren knocked down her list of “to-do’s” in lightening speed.

Within a few months, because of their mutual love of baseball, they took their engagement photos at Angels’ Stadium which inspired their Save the Date
game tickets.

But their actual wedding was themed to camping, the great outdoor woods, and bright sunny sunflowers—and the Oak Canyon Nature Center was the perfect location to host their I-do’s.

Lauren likes to keep things simple so when she presented me with her wedding invitation ideas, they came together pretty easily. I just loved working on her invites! From their arrow through the heart monogram to the twine wrapped invitation suite to that wooden texture paper.

Such a dream!

Her invitations came with a map, a registry card, and a RSVP postcard… which you got a sneak peek at last fall.

They were so much fun to be with throughout the day… Ebony and I have known each other since middle school and you would all know her second shooter Courtney from her maternity photos with me and of course her handsome little Jameson!

Lauren’s florist was Kim Ryan from Tulips, Trophies and Treasures. The same florist I had—Amie is using her too—so I just knew every piece of decor was going to be beautiful down to the smallest detail. She really took Lauren’s dream wedding ideas and ran with it.

It was such a fun wedding! We danced and danced and danced all night long, celebrating the brand new Mr. and Mrs… just looking back through their photos made me smile and so happy for them all over again!

Thanks for allowing me to help you throughout the wedding process “Yoyo!” I definitely miss our craft nights! 🙂
