Hello, Kathleen here, filling in for Sam while she’s away. I hope you don’t mind me sharing a few of my favorite things on the ol’ interwebs this fine Friday. Righto, let’s delve in…

1. Carpe the Donut

Yep, I have this quasi secret obsession with donuts. Now that I’ve said it and it’s “out there” we can move on. Along with my doughy obsession I am also obsessed with the idea of planning a wedding. That’s where Carpe Donuts comes in. They’re a food truck FOR DONUTS. Need I say more? Nope.

>2. Crafty-Bo-Bafty

I love me some DIY, who doesn’t? (I’m sure quite a few people don’t, but that’s not the point right now!) The Urban Craft Center located in Santa Monica also loves crafts, hence the reason they named their business “The Urban CRAFT Center”. They offer classes like sewing, knitting, embroidery, and soap making just to name a few. I’d like to take a couple of classes here, who’s with me?!

3. If I were blonde…

…I’d dye my hair pink. I love this whole faded, almost pastel hair color. This is the one time in my life that I wish I could pull off blonde, only to pull off “pink”. This specific picture is from my favorite magazine, Nylon, and it’s of an artist named Grimes. They’re offering one free song of hers. So go on, download that song and browse Nylon’s blog, you won’t be disappointed.

4. Expresso Yourself

I love coffee. Nay, I am obsessed with and dependent upon it. I love chevron stripes. AND I love art. Put the three together and this is what you get; Tara Hogan’s birch wood wall art. I must have it. Wanna buy it for me?

5. Anthropologie: A Poor Woman’s Nightmare

I went into the fore-mentioned store and wanted everything. I cannot afford it, so I lust after it on here instead. End of story.
